Thank you for visiting our site. We are a volunteer-based ministry in Quito, Ecuador committed to helping people who need food, clothes, and medical help.

We are an international community of Christians who feed and clothe the poor because we believe that is what Jesus asks of us. Although we come from different backgrounds and cultures we have realized that we can work as a team to make a difference where we live. We cannot reach every one but we can sure change the reality of some of the hurting people around us. We want to be an answer in our society and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pan de Vida opened on February 4^th, 2001 in a driveway, inviting people from the streets for a hearty meal, for clothes and for Biblical teaching and worship. Now we are in our fourth location, a bright and welcoming home where each week we see smiles on the faces of children, hope in the eyes of mothers and relief in the expressions of men. We are making a difference.

You can make a difference, too. I invite you to say, "Yes, Lord, here I am. Use my time and talents". Pan de Vida is a flexible ministry that allows you to use your talents for service to God. The only requirements are a love for Jesus and a commitment to the people we serve in His Name.
